YOGA FOUNDATION COURSE - 5 WEEK CYCLE
930am Tuesdays 2020


 These classes are perfect for beginners or experienced yogis keen to revisit their foundations. Each week we focus on a different set of postures: we prepare the body for the intended goal, and work through the details of alignment through a mini workshop during which we are more than happy to answer any questions. This class has a strong emphasis on alignment to develop body awareness and to bring you in the present moment. 

Yoga teachers support a safe practice and explore different variations of a pose. You will learn to perform and modify your poses (asanas) safely, with confidence and enthusiasm. Every class ends with a meditation experience.

Over time you will have a deeper understanding of your own body and become empowered to make the best choices for your body at any given time. Mentally, you will be given the tools to explore and understand your own mental and emotional patterns, and learn to experience a stillness that is the path to a more peaceful, grounded life. 

Take the opportunity to practice surrounded by nature in a beautiful yoga shala with a breathtaking sea view. The perfect way to spend a morning, followed by a swim and perhaps a chai tea in the Wylie's Baths cafe. All welcome, no need to feel intimidated or overwhelmed.
