Yogarama Yoga Teachers at Wylie's Baths

Yogarama Founder

Daniella Goldberg Yogarama Yoga Teacher at Wylies Baths Coogee
Daniella Goldberg PhD

Daniella Goldberg is the founder of Yogarama and has been practising yoga since the of age 5 years old.

She trained to be a yoga teacher after a potentially life-threatening illness, mostly caused by too much stress. She nurtured herself back to health, supported by yoga and meditation, and has been on a journey to empower more people to discover yoga and meditation to help reduce stress, bring back balance and health whilst having a bit of fun. Sharing yoga, meditation and the wisdom of this 2000 years old tradition, she hopes to inspire people to live more mindfully in the moment, in tune with the harmony of nature.

Daniella has been teaching yoga and meditation at Wylie's yoga shala for many years. The sunrise yoga experience was the first class she taught at Wylie's baths and it is not like any other.  Surrounded by the ocean and nestled in the bushy cliffs of Coogee, her philosophy is to practice yoga in tune with the cycles of nature. From summer through to winter, giving gratitude from sunrise to sunset and honouring the moon cycles - from the full to the new moon and again. It is the most beautiful place in the world to practice yoga.

Her shared vision is to build a community of like-minded yoga teachers and students that are inspired by practising yoga and mindful meditation in nature.  Read Daniella's personal story (my dance with yoga).

She has extensive 500+ hours of yoga teacher training and incorporates a blend of yoga styles in her hatha flow and mindful meditation class. She is a member of the International Yoga Teachers Association (IYTA) and continues to study and love yoga therapy.  She is also a qualified medical scientist with a Doctorate of Philosophy in Medicine, working as a healthcare communications specialist.

Bjorg-Ida has been practising yoga for over 12 years and a yoga teacher since she completed her training at the renowned Oslo yoga studio in Norway. Since returning to Sydney in 2017, she has been delighted to share with Australian students what she learnt from teaching full time in Oslo.

Bjorg-Ida's teaching has a special emphasis on mindfulness and the breath, which allows her students to really connect and tune in deeply.

"Yoga is a container for meditation, a tool to go inwards. It helps us connect with nature and authentically connect with others. Through these connections, we find union and cultivate contentment in our hearts."
Nigel Mitchell Yogarama Yoga Teacher at Wylie's Baths Coogee

Nigel Mitchell
Nigel’s journey in yoga started at the age of 20 when he discovered it’s powerful healing aspects after an accident which left him in a coma, suffering amnesia and mostly immobile for six months. He started yoga practice to strengthen his body and along the way he discovered the power of the breath and the calming of the mind.  He has been practicing yoga ever since.

His love of yoga comes out through his teaching style in which he shares his passion for yoga in a down to earth and practical manner with attention to physical alignment and internal awareness.
Nigel teaches local yoga classes at the Bondi Pavilion which incorporate his knowledge of Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and Martial Arts movement.

He is also Co-founder of United Nations World Yoga Day.

Great class! Nigel gave direction and corrections really clearly and had a good focus on technical steps for even basic poses. A few laughs rounded out the class nicely :) would attend his class again for sure.

Revi Kadoury
Revi discovered Yoga in her early 20's when she searched for a gentle option of exercise post injury. Once embarking on that path she noticed that her mind was so much calmer after a class than pre class. She wanted to know more.
Understanding how modern day demands & stresses can easily throw you out of balance, raising kids and juggling demanding career, she dived further into the practice and opened herself to studies of yoga  philosophy.
Her passion for searching truth and meaning led her to explore Pranayama, Vinyasa Kundalini and IIyngar style yoga, She integrates her learning in her day to day life. Mindfulness & presence is key for balanced life.
Her love for the Ocean, Yoga (and coffee )all come together at the magical space of Wylies Baths.
Revi has taught in Australia and the USA and brings her passion of the yoga philosophy, Breath work, meditation  and vinyasa flow into the class room.
