Life is extremely busy, stressful and demanding and often leaves little time to connect our mind & body. 

Mindful meditation is scientifically shown to have a range of mental and physical benefits.

Yogarama offers mindful meditation in the open air connected to nature at the tranquil at Wylie's Baths. We are building a community that meditates together. 

We welcome everyone, of all levels, to our meditation classes and community courses. We explore a variety of simple techniques rooted in ancient yogic traditions to prepare our bodies and mind to ease oneself into a deeply relaxed meditative state.encourage you to connect with our mindful meditation and yoga community. 

Yogarama offers 5 week meditation courses throughout the year.  Please email if you are interested..
 
We recommend a number of apps. that are simple to use and offer a range of guided meditations of different lengths for your benefit  including: Headspace app.  Insight Timer app. & Calm app.

We have gifted you mindful meditation practices. We recommend you find a quiet place, to sit or lie down to do this mindful meditation. Taking 10-20 minutes each day to sit in a mindful meditation can make an enormous difference to your health

    Class Responsibility Agreement Participation in yoga includes, but is not limited to, participation in meditation techniques (dhyana), yogic breathing techniques (pranayama), and various yoga postures (asanas). Yoga is an exercise of the entire body - body, mind and spirit - stretching and toning the muscles and joints, the spine and the entire skeletal system. Yoga also works on the internal organs, glands and nerves. Yoga incorporates sustained stretching to strengthen muscles and increase flexibility. Yoga is an individual experience. I understand that in Yoga Class, I will progress at my own pace. If at any point I feel overexertion, fatigue or uncomfortable, I will respect my body’s limitations and I will rest or discontinue yoga practice. I understand that yoga classes may include receiving adjustments from the yoga teacher to assist me in some of the postures and I give my permission for the teacher to do so. I acknowledge that participation in yoga classes exposes me to a possible risk of personal injury and I take that responsibility. I am physically fit to participate in yoga and a medical doctor and/or health professional has verified that I am in good physical condition for participation in this type of yoga class.
